I’m available for commissions to create knitted paintings based on your environment and narrative or if a previously sold work is of interest.
The scale, colour palette and theme will be customisable based on your perspective and remain true to the aesthetic of my work.
My knitted paintings are created using yarn sourced sustainably where possible. I find the yarn second hand, in op shops, mill end or dead stock and if new, locally sourced. This means that sometimes I run out of yarn and can never find it again, which can present a challenge to ensure i’m using the yarn effectively within the piece but also means my artworks are one off and individual. As the yarn plays a part in the artwork’s flow and progression, this must be factored into when working together to develop the concept.
